Symptom

You would like to understand how to deactivate an email channel.

Environment

SAP Service Cloud Version 2

Resolution

To deactivate an email channel, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to your user profile on the top-right corner of your screen.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Navigate to All Settings tab.
  4. Click Channel Settings, under Email.
  5. Click Deactivate button.

Once the channel is deactivated, it will be possible to edit some of its parameters, including the Channel Email.
