Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to the instance 
  2. On the top right side, check the To-Do icon is missing

Cause

Under Company System and Logo Settings the option "Enable To-do Panel" is unchecked.

Resolution

Enable To-do Panel in Company System and Logo Settings.
