Symptom
In SAP Commerce Cloud, managing the SMTP server is part of Customer's responsibilities.
After have followed Integrating an Email Service with SAP Commerce Cloud you encounter the following:
Now, emails are failing and you can see logs similar to:
- "Could not send e-mail pk [<PK>] subject [<Subject>] cause: Sending the email to the following server failed : <SMTP server>:<port> Caused by: <SMTP code>"
or:
- "Could not send e-mail pk [<PK>] subject [<Subject>] cause: Sending the email to the following server failed : <SMTP_server>:<port>"
