• How to change Remote Hire to Non Remote Hire?
• I-9 Section 2 signature step did not trigger due to Remote Hire as Yes. How to correct it?

How to change Remote Hire to No if user is still an external candidate:

1. Onboarding Dashboard > Select Candidate > Actions > New Hire Data
2. Change the value for Is Remote Hire to "No"
3. Submit the New Hire Data
4. Perform "Correct I-9 Data" from the same Action Tab in the Onboarding Dashboard, after changing the value and submitting New Hire Data.
5. This action will trigger I-9 section 1 and correct the Is Remote Hire field when I-9 section 2 is triggered.

If candidate is already hired, please attempt one of the following possible solutions:

• For active employee, change the field value for Is Remote Hire in the Employee Profile and trigger I-9 flow from Manage Data.
• If Is Remote Hire field is not available in Employee Profile (UI), directly trigger the I-9 section 2 in Manage Data. Once user selects No for "Remote" I-9 Section 2 signature step successfully triggers. 

Limitations / Expected Behavior:

• Is it possible to disable Remote Hire option? 
  • No, the Remote Hire option is hard-coded in the system and cannot be disabled or hidden.
