Symptom
- Some specific functions are based on the so called 'Business object type' of an SAP object. E.g. GOS functionality (transaction OAC3) or Workflow related functions like 'Event type linkage' (transaction SWETYPV). It can be maintained in transaction SWO1.
- It is not clear how to determine the 'Business object type' for a sales document.
- There is a requirement to use ArchiveLink functionality and to assign a document type to an object type, a content repository, and a link table in transaction OAC3. The appropriate object type for specific sales documents is currently unclear.
- The goal is to activate a workflow for a specific event triggered by a particular sales document type. The relevant business object type and its events that are evaluated or triggered during the maintenance of this document are currently unknown.
