3248303 - Valid Candidates Showing as Red in the Candidate Workbench - Recruiting

When opening the candidate workbench, there are candidates in a valid status but showing red as if they were disqualified.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting 

1. Click on Recruiting tab;
2. Open the affected Job Requisition;
3. Click on Candidate tab;
4. Notice that there are valid candidates showing as red.

This behavior happens when someone opens the affected application and click on Take action > Close from Consideration.

When this happens you should be able to see an entry in History tab showing a value change for the field "Internal Status" and who triggered that, like the one below:

This action doesn't mean that the candidate is permanently disqualified, this is more like a warning that someone has reviewed and marked the candidate for close from consideration.

You can simple undo that by opening the application and select the affected candidate and click Take Action > Reopen for consideration.

Note: "Close from consideration" and "Reopen for consideration" are legacy features and are no longer supported, therefore should not be used.

Instead, please use the "Disqualify Candidate" function.
