3248508 - Unable to Migrate Open Sales Orders With Service Fulfillment Via Project

You want to migrate a sales order with product of type Service fixed price without actuals. However, in the Migration Template, under item tab, "service fulfillment via Project" is not available.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to Overview view.
3. Find and Select activity the Migration of Open Sales Orders Activity.
4. Select Migrate open sales orders using the migration tool via the hyperlink.
5. You can also > Download Migration template.
6. In the Migration Template, item tab, "service fulfillment via Project" is not available. 

In UI screen, if you enter a Product ID of a service item of type Service fixed price without actuals, and assign the sales order to a multi customer project, you will see a Service Fulfillment via Project check box under Cost and Revenue Assignment. The indicator is unchecked by default. If you select the check box, the system will do the following steps:

Plan the costs from the project and not the sales order

Make mandatory fields Labour Resource and Duration in the sales order item level non-mandatory

Currently, the migration of items with service fulfillment via Project is not supported.

We do not currently have the possibility of migrating items with service fulfillment via Project. The idea of migration generally is that it is all the tasks have already been performed in the legacy system and that there is no pending task on them.

Please note that "Service Fulfillment via Project" is not available via standard webservice either.
