3248557 - Unable to search objects in BI Lauchpad.

Symptom

  • Unable to use Platform search Application.
  • Error on Platform Search Application: Platform search is not available because BI Platform cannot validate the search's Paths
  • Indexing status: Search service metrics not available.
  • Start Indexing and Stop Indexing Grayed Out.
  • For APS Search getting error in the logs:
    Cannot create directory: \\<Shared_Path>\Lucene Index Engine\index
    Caused by: java.io.IOException: Cannot create directory:<Shared_Path>\Lucene Index Engine\index
