3248933 - SAP HANA Client SQLCODE -10709 Connect failed. System call 'recv' failed, rc=110:Connection timed out

Symptom

  • Occasionally NetWeaver Application Server has shortdump in transaction ST22 with error DBSQL_CONNECTION_NO_METADATA.
  • A HANA DB request or connection fails with the following error:
"Connect failed (connect timeout expired)"
SQLCODE : -10709
 SQLERRTEXT : Connect failed (connect timeout expired)
"Connection down: [89006] System call 'recv' failed, rc=110:Connection timed out"
