3249144 - [object Object] when displaying a specific date in the Calendar in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

The following error message occurs when displaying a specific date in the Calendar in SAP Analytics Cloud for Planning (SAC):

• [object Object]
• The calendar can be displayed normally if you select a different date.

• SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2022.8.17

The issue is caused by a process that has many direct children. The easiest way to create a process with many children is using the wizard and selecting a model with many members in the driving dimension. When all these members are selected, this issue can happen.
Unfortunately, we cannot say how many children are the limit. It depends on the system of the user.

A possible workaround is to apply a role filter in the Calendar. If you set a filter on all roles, you will be able to see all events.

To avoid this issue in the future, we would recommend creating deeper hierarchies and spreading the tasks under different processes. Instead of 1 process with 1000 children, probably a process with 10 child processes and each child process has 100 child tasks. 
Also, we have planned to improve the performance to prevent the out-of-memory error that caused all the issues here. But we have not decided yet, in which QRC we have the capacity to work on it.
