3250514 - Error sh: /usr/bin/lpr: No such file or directory using Access Method L

Symptom

Create a new Output Device on transaction SPAD or edit a current Output Device using Access Method L and it fails when you try to print.

Checking the spool in transaction SP01 you see the status of the spool as "Problem" or "Incorrect".

On the Spool Log you can see the detailed error once you click in "All Information":

The host spool is reporting errors

  sh: /usr/bin/lpr: No such file or directory
