When you try to convert a planned order to a production order, the error message "Planned order could not be converted. No default value maintained for op. generation for order type &1 (mat &3)" shows up.

No routing has been maintained for the material. As a result, no operation can be decided when creating the production order.

To eliminate the error and successfully convert the planned order, you should either maintain the correct routing for the material &1 or set the default operation for order type &3 in SSCUI 102534 - Define Default Values.
