3251106 - New Address Formatting Layout for China

Address format of supplier and ship to has been changed in PO output job for supplier and plant in China.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud 2208 and higher

A new layout for China is available based on the current UPU guidelines.

The new address layout available for China is in accordance with the current postal and UPU guidelines. In this layout, if at least 20% of the characters are non-Latin, the address layout is considered Domestic.

The immediate solution would be to revert back to the previous layout 022. This can be done by accessing the SSCUI Define Countries/Regions (SSCUI id: 104076) for country CN and change the layout key from 122 to 022. This step will revert the formatting as it was happening previously and the custom Adobe form will start behaving as earlier.

Although as we mentioned that 122 is the correct layout and provide the correct formatting for domestic and foreign address of China.
We recommend customers to adapt your custom Adobe Forms according to the new layout in future.
