Symptom

Upon accessing the Storefront or SmartEdit, below error can be seen in the console tab of the browser leading to unexpected behavior in certain scenarios:

Refused to display 'https://domain.commerce.ondemand.com/' in a frame because it set 'X-Frame-Options' to 'sameorigin'.
