3251541 - Memory spike for dpserver and get out of memory for the whole HANA instance

Symptom

  • Component "Pool/DataProvisioning Server/DPServerReceiverManager" grows in volume after a restart of HANA
  • After few minutes, the DP Agent connection is DISCONNECTED from HANA cloud. The memory consumption continues to increase until all the memory of the database is taken up
  • By checking the replication statistics through M_REMOTE_SOURCE_STATISTICS, there is delay for replication
  • There is old error in indexserver trace : "Distributor failed in DistributorTxn::run: exception ***: Failed to read persisted data. exception ***: Container *** not found."
  • Restart of dpserver won't help
