3251772 - No Journal Entry Creation for Goods and Activity Confirmation of Project Stock Order

In Project Stock Order, you find that no journal entry gets created on delivery Goods and Activity Confirmation(GAC) even if delivery status of item is Finished.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Project Management Work Center.
2. Navigate to Project Stock Orders View.
3. Search for the project stock order and select it.
4. Choose Edit button, then you note that the delivery status for some items is Finished.
5. Go to Document Flow Tab, you find that there is no journal entry creation on the delivery GAC(s).

After stock allocated from warehouse to project, the stock is removed from the source site/ logistics area and is tagged to the project, but there

is no related finical change. Hence it's expected that no accounting notification entry for these delivery GACs.

When the project stock is consumed, the consumption GAC along with the project reference would trigger a message to Finance and have footprint in accounting. Then a journal entry would be created on the consumption GAC.
