Symptom
Customer needs to mass delete any entity in their environment and needs support help on the task.
Environment
SAP SALES CLOUD CPQ
Resolution
CPQ Support team recommend customer to first try to bulk delete any entity with available tools provided in CPQ (UI/API).
Raising a request to delete via SQL scripts should be used only if the process to perform the deletion through UI feature or API presents any error during its execution, it is extremely time consuming or it is not available.
If it is necessary to engage support team to perform the request, kindly provide error or performance issues faced during the execution of the task.
When request is created, with needed information, entity will be deleted as a whole. For example, if you request to delete products, all products from tenant will be deleted.
