You would like to know how Renewed Automatically checkbox in the Contract works.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the work center Sales Order -> Contracts
  2. Search for the Contract ABC (ABC is the Contract I'D)
  3. Navigate to the Items tab
  4. Check for the Renewed Automatically checkbox



The Renewed Automatically checkbox indicates whether the line item is renewed automatically within the contract or it is manually created.

If the Renewed Automatically checkbox is ticked for a line item then that line item is renewed automatically within the contract as per the Renewal Rule.
