3252257 - Error: "Default sender address is invalid;enter an address from an allowed domain" when adding more than 15 sender domains

After 15 Allowed Sender E-Mail Domains are maintained in the E-Mail and Fax Settings activity in Business Configuration, it is possible to exchange old domains with new ones. But its is not possible to maintain additional sender domains. Related attempts fail with error:

"Default sender address is invalid;enter an address from an allowed domain"

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Business Configuration work center
2. Go to Overview
3. Select activity: E-Mail and Fax Settings 
4. Change Immediately: E-Mail and Fax Settings
5. Under section Allowed Sender E-Mail Domains, find 15 domains already maintained
6. Choose Add Row and maintain a further sender domain
7. Save  
8. Error: Default sender address is invalid;enter an address from an allowed domain

As per design, only 15 domains are allowed to be added in the sender domain list.

As a workaround, you can adjust the list size in personalisation to add more than 15 sender domains.
