3252651 - Currency conversion from currency A into currency B not possible on project invoice request

You receive error on project invoice request: Currency conversion from A into B not possible (A and B represents 2 different currencies).

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Project Management work center.
2. Go to Project Invoicing Requests view.
3. Open XYZ (XYZ represents the project invoice request ID).
4. You receive the error: Currency conversion from A into B not possible.
5. However from Exchange Rates view, exchange rate between A and B is already maintained and valid.

Currency of expenses can be converted to the currency of the project invoice request.

There is a rule: exchange rate should be valid for the provision date (“Valid From” in the attached list of currency exchange rates).

And there is one more rule: this exchange rate should have been registered not later than timestamp of expense creation.

If all the exchange rates from A to B and from B to A were registered quite recently, they cannot be considered as valid according to the mentioned second rule.

That's why system shows this error.

Register date is set by the system and cannot be changed from UI frontend.

Please kindly cancel and create new project invoice request in the system to ensure the timestamp of expense creation is later then register date of exchange rate.
