You are looking for information regarding the new status "Awaiting Processing" in the Data Replication monitor.

Awaiting Processing meaning:

• Entry has been added to the staging area in the SAP S∕4HANA system but hasn't been processed yet. 
• The status is also used when employee replication requests have been processed with temporary errors.

Previously: 

• Employees which were replicated because they were present in the DRM would be re-replicated with every scheduled replication run until they get a Confirmation with a final status (Successful or Failed).
• Status was duplicated between Replication Content Types "Employee Master Data" & "Employee Org. Assignment"

Previous Handling for Employee Master Data & Org. Assignment: 

Now: 

• In Process only for "Employee Master Data"
• Once in the staging area - A confirmation message with status "Awaiting Processing" is sent to the DRM. 
  
  • Note: This erases the "Scheduled Replication Timestamp" if set in the DRM.
• When employees are picked up from the staging area and processed, once complete - A confirmation message with status "Successful", "Failed" or "Awaiting Processing" will be sent.

New Handling for Employee Master Data & Org. Assignment:

Migration Steps: 

• Employee Master Data records in DRM: None
• Org. Assignment records in DRM: Can be deleted manually 

Advantages: 

• Less data stored and transferred due to the combination of Replication Content Types
• A re-scheduled employee is only transferred once to the target system
• Less situations where issues appear in the DRM with parallel processing
• Clear status when the employees were received by the target system
• IMPORTANT NOTES: 

  -You will not see "Awaiting Processing" status on every replication. When an employee replication occurs in a timely manner, it's expected that only the "Successful" status is sent to DRM.

  -The "Awaiting Process" status will only be sent to DRM when the replication arrives at the staging area in the SAP HCM system but hasn't been processed yet. This status is also used when the employee replication requests have been processed with temporary errors
  
  -The new status "Awaiting Processing" is only used in the new S/4 Payroll Add-On, it is not used by the lower versions of the integration into ERP and this is the intended design of the application
