Carry out period closing in app Close Periods, error appears and showing "Incorrect Period in control rec. of Code &1;no conversion The current period (month/year) of the control record is &2".

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

1. Open app "Close Periods"
2. Enter value into the below fields:
   

   • From company code

   • To company code

   • Period

   • Fiscal year

3. Flag the "Check and close period" checkbox

4. Click execute

5. The error "Incorrect Period in control rec. of Code &1;no conversion The current period (month/year) of the control record is &2" occurs

The current period is 6, that means period 6 is open. If input 6 or 06 in "Period" field, period 5 will be closed and open period 6. System shows the error "Incorrect Period in control rec. of Code &1;no conversion The current period (month/year) of the control record is &2"due to incorrect period filled.

If close Jun posting period and open July, it is suggested to input 7 or 07 in "Period" field.
