You would like to understand how to create and maintain registered product categories.

To create new registered products categories, you can follow the steps below:

1. Navigate to your user profile on the top-right corner of your screen.
2. Click Settings.
3. Navigate to All Settings tab.
4. Click Category Settings under Registered Products.
5. Click + to add a new category, and make sure that it starts with a z identifier.

It is also important to notice the following points:

• The Serial ID of the Registered Products is linked to the Categories created.
• In case the Serial ID is set as optional for a specific category, then you can create a Registered Product without the Serial ID, in case the specific category is selected.
• By default, when creating a Registered Product, the category will be empty and the Serial ID, mandatory.
