3253114 - Fixed date input control would be displayed as date format when selecting the ending week as the last week in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• After adding a fixed date input control in a story of SAC and selecting week ending as the last week, the time range shown on this input control panel would be displayed as data format instead of week format

• SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2022

1. Add an input control based on the date dimension in a story of SAC
2. Click on three dot graph button beside the input control and select "Edit Input Control"
3. In the "Set Date Range for Date“ panel, configure as follows:
   Type: Fixed
   Hierarchy: Year, Week, Day
   Granularity: Week (from Year X Week A to Year X Week B)
4. Go back to the input control, select the ending week as the last week namely Year X Week B
5. Observe that the date range shown on this input control would be displayed as date format instead of week format

• This is by design behaiviour in normal view mode.

Workaround:

• Enable Optimized View Mode (under the Save toolbar button), or convert the story to Optimized Design Experience (under Edit Story toolbar button)
• The range filter in the optimized mode does not adjust the time range to go down to the day level
