3253287 - The employee is inactive with employee status in Job information as 'Deceased', but Position Org Chart is filled

• The employee is inactive but the employee status in Job Information portlet as Deceased/custom one
• In the Position Org Chart the position should be vacant but can see the employee on the position (not unassigned)

• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central : Position Management
• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central : Job Information

1. Choose an inactive employee with status as custom one (for example: Deceased) in Job Information portlet
2. Go the Position Org Chart is showing as if the employee is still holding to that position, not unassigned from position

• The issue is happened because the employee status of employee while termination is custom one (Deceased)
• The Position Org chart cannot identify this status of employee (Manage Organization, Pay and Job Structures -> Event Reason -> Employee Status -> Deceased)
• Only the standard list of Employee status values are identified by the code. Please see the link below :

Picklist Configuration for Employment Status

• Go to Picklist Center -> employee-status -> Deceased -> Edit Picklist value -> Non-unique External Code -> T (please refer KB https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2238057 for more details on this issue)
• If the issue is not solved by the first step, then Go to Employee's Profile -> Job Information -> History -> Edit the existing record -> Make a dummy change of record in fields  -> Save record
