Symptom

 Solr indexing fails with warning message:

Indexing failedDD.MM.YYYY hh:mm:ss: WARNING: Error during indexer call: <myIndex>

Relevant logs in Kibana:

  • "Error during indexer call: <myIndex>"
  • "de.hybris.platform.solrfacetsearch.indexer.exceptions.IndexerException: Indexer worker failed. Max number of retries in total has been reached"
  • "de.hybris.platform.solrfacetsearch.indexer.exceptions.IndexerRuntimeException: de.hybris.platform.solrfacetsearch.indexer.exceptions.IndexerException: Failed to index item with PK <PK>: Failed to resolve values for item with PK: <PK>, by resolver: springELValueProvider, for property: <property>, reason: EL1005E: Type cannot be found '<path.to.model.MyModel>'"

Even though <MyModel> exists in Backoffice > System > Types and it contains <property> as an attribute in the Properties tab.

The indexing works in the previous patch.
