When you consolidate two business partner from the target system via MDG consolidation process using target Remove duplicate, after the consolidation you will see that in MDG system, the best record of the two business partner will be remain and duplicate record will be marked with deletion flag. However, in the target system there is no deletion flag for either of the business partner.
