3254465 - Material requirements are shown in app Monitor Stock / Requirements List but not in MRP Cockpit apps

You find some material requirements are missing in MRP Cockpit apps (Check/Monitor/Manage Material Coverage), however, these missing requirements can be found in app Monitor Stock / Requirements List (MD04).

The cause of this issue is that the "Evaluation Horizon" which specifies the period of time in calendar days for which you want the system to calculate the material shortages and uncovered demands is not long enough.
The MRP Cockpit apps are the DEMAND view and not a comprehensive overview of all documents. They have their own logics about the shortage definition and calculation. One important time-related parameter is the "Evaluation Horizon". If it is too short, the requirements which are too faraway will not be considered by the apps. For example, if the "Evaluation Horizon" is 10 days and a requirement is in 3 month, it will definitely not show up in the app.

It is recommended to copy the standard shortage profile to create a new one and set the "Evaluation Horizon" to a proper value according to your business in SSCUI 101177 - Define Material Shortage Profiles.
In order to assign the new profile to all users globally,  in SSCUI "Assign Material Shortage Profile to Users" , create an entry with * instead of specified User ID.
