The user would like to know how to configure and assign a custom date rule for the service contract billing plan.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Define the custom date rule in the configuration activity "Define Date Types, Duration Types and Date Rules for Service Transactions (ID: 104300)".
2. Click into the newly-defined date rule and apply custom logic into it.
3. Assign this date rule to the date profile of service contracts in the configuration activity "Define Date Profile for Service Transactions (ID: 104301)".
4. Do relevant configurations in the configuration activity "Assign Date Profile to Transaction Types (ID: 104327)" and "Assign Date Profile to Item Categories in Service (ID: 104328)".
5. Select the newly-defined date rule under the drop-down list of the "Billing Date" field under the "Billing Plan" tab of the service contract item(s).
