SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central – Time Sheet

1. Go to Manage Data.
2. In the Search Option, select Allowance Type.
3. Click on the dropdown next to it, to see the available records in it.
4. Duplicate records are shown with same external code.

Known limitation with search in manage data page. The root cause behind this is that there are a bunch of Inactive records in the instance but the 'Include inactive' flag is marked as false.

Recommendations (You may try either of the below options):

1. The 'Include Inactive' switch can be turned on the manage data search bar. This will remove the duplicate records in the dropdown.
2. If the user scrolls smoothly in the dropdown instead of moving directly to the end of the list, duplicate records will not be shown. 
3. If the user searches for the record in the search bar instead of scrolling to the record (specially if number of records are high), the issue will not be seen. 
4. Even if the user sees duplicate records, any record can be selected and the behaviour will be the same. Selecting either of the duplicate records does not make any difference.
