Is it possible to disable or remove "Add work permit info" button on the Work Permit Information Portlet?

Currently, it is not possible to disable or remove the "Add New Work Permit Info" as it is tied-up to the permission under Permission settings > Employee Data > Work Permit Info > Edit.
