3254783 - Cannot post Goods Receipt due to error 'Error Message1'

Unable to post a Goods Receipt for Purchase Order in the app 'Post Goods Receipt for Purchasing Document' due to error 'Error Message1'.

• SAP S/4HANA Cloud

1. Post Goods Receipt for Purchasing Document.
2. Enter Purchase Order number.
3. Document & Posting Date defaults to todays date example 09.09.2022.
4. Press Post.
5. Error 'Error Message1.

The F12 Console shows the error 'The given date instance isn't valid'

Post the Goods Receipt for the Purchase Order in 'Post Goods Movement' we see the error: 'M7053 Posting only possible in periods 2022/08 and 2022/07 in company code 1234'

Checking the Company Code - the current posting period is 08 2022

Company Code    1234

 Current period               08 2022  <<
 Previous period              07 2022
 Last period in prev.year  12 2021

Using the app 'Close Period' close period 08 / open period 09 for Company Code 1234.
