SAP Knowledge Base Article - PreviewSymptom
When submitting catalogs where there are Catalog Validation Rules defined for the fields Supplier Part ID and Supplier Part Auxiliary ID, and the value for the item does not match the requirements, we should see an error like this:
"The Supplier Part Id field value is incorrect. The value must match the pattern defined by the regular expression".
Usually for other fields, we see a link where we can Edit this field information in Ariba UI, however, for the fields mentioned previously, the link is not available.
