3255206 - Configuration of slewing in ntpd (Network Time Protocol (NTP) daemon) on SLES and RHEL

Symptom

The time synchronization on the server is done by ntpd.

SAP applications and DB cannot handle large steps in time, requiring ntpd to slew (adjust only gradually) the time.
