3255417 - Error in App Schedule General Ledger Jobs

Executing Job 'Regroup Receivables/Payables', 'Foreign Currency Valuation' or 'Provisions of Doubtful Receivables' in App 'Schedule General Ledger Jobs' the following error occurs:

"An error occurred. Please create an case on Component FI".

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

1. Enter App Schedule General Ledger Jobs.
2. Create new Job.
3. Select Template 'Regroup Receivables/Payables'.
4. Add Parameters.
5. Schedule the Job.
6. Check Log.

Advanced valuation is active in the system. Manage Your Solutions > Configure Your Solutions > Finance > General Ledger > Ledgers and Valuation > Activate Advanced Valuation (SSCUI 103315).

Once Advanced Foreign Currency Valuation is activated, the following apps cannot be used:

• Perform Foreign Currency Valuation (FAGL_FCV)
• Regroup Receivables/Payables (FAGLF101)
• Perform Further Valuations (F107)

The following job templates cannot be used as well:

• Foreign Currency Valuation
• Regroup Receivables/Payables
• Provisions for Doubtful Receivables

Moreover the above job templates are deprecated and will be deleted in 2508 release.

The successors of the above mentioned apps and jobs are the function of Advanced Valuation in Financial Accounting.
