3256579 - NY IT-2104 Form Employer Section is not populating - Onboarding 1.0

NY IT 2104 form did not populate the Employer section upon the onboarding activity's completion.

Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Initiate onboarding for a candidate located in NY
  2. Complete New Employee Step
  3. During Orientation Step, make sure that the box in the Employers only section is marked.
  4. Complete the Orientation Step and sign the documents
  5. See that the NY IT 2104 did not populate anything in the Employer Section

  • This is a known issue with DocuSign.
  • Since the document is already signed by the new hire, DocuSign doesn't allow us to tamper the document for updating employer section details.

To make it working, the form must be signed via click to sign feature.

Please update the configuration and follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to Onboarding >> Reference Files >> Forms
  2. Click on SWH Feature Forms - Onboarding Group
  3. Search for NY IT-2104
  4. Double Click on the NY IT-2104 form
  5. Uncheck the “Use DocuSign” Checkbox for NY IT-2104 form
  6. Then, save it.

This way, rest of the form will come with DocuSign (for customers using DocuSign) and NY IT-2104 form will be for click to sign.
