3256602 - Data export service API does not convert the external format to the internal format in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

The following behavior occurs in SAP Analytics Cloud for Planning (SAC):

• When you export data from SAC to BW (via ODATA) (or S/4HANA or IBP) using the PUSH export (standard (legacy) export jobs in the Data Management workspace), it converts the external format to the internal format automatically.
• However, when you export data from SAC to the same BW (or S/4HANA or IBP) system using the Data export service (PULL) API, it does not convert the external format to the internal format.

• SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise)

• The Data Export Service (PULL API) does not offer any column name manipulation functionality.
• It exposes the columns with the names specified by SAC.

It is the responsibility of the customer to map the columns retrieved by Data Export Service API with the target columns.
