3257622 - Not able to upgrade Birthday and Work Anniversary cards in Upgrade Center after universal push of Latest Home Page - SAP SuccessFactors

After universal push of the Latest Home page, the upgrade for birthday and work anniversary cards in Upgrade Center cannot be run.

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

• Go to Upgrade Center for an instance that has received the Universal upgrade to the latest home page.
• Try to run the upgrade "Enable birthday and work anniversary cards on the latest home page"
• The upgrade button is not available or disabled.

Post universal push, the "New Experience for the Home Page" upgrade status is not set as required for the dependent upgrade "Enable birthday and work anniversary cards on the latest home page". As a result, that upgrade is not allowed to be submitted.

The fix will be patched in b2205p27 (preview: Oct 17, prod: Oct 20)

In the meantime, workaround for customers who want to enable the Birthday and Work Anniversary cards is to manually set up two scheduled jobs in Provisioning as follows-

In Provisioning -> Manage Scheduled Jobs page, Create a job for each of the following two types

• • "Push Date of Birth and Anniversary Date for Cards on Latest Home Page (Daily)"
    
    • Set this daily job to be run once a day
  • "Push Date of Birth and Anniversary Date for Cards on Latest Home Page (Monthly).
    
    • Set this monthly job to be run on the first day of the month

Both jobs run time should be scheduled at UTC 00:00.

These 2 jobs should be run immediately once after they are created and submitted. The birthdays and work anniversaries will be shown properly on the latest home page after this has been done. 

These provisioning jobs can be created either by partners, who have provisioning access, or via ticket to SAP support.
