3257750 - Error for Contingent Worker while importing Job History

When trying to Add New Contingent Worker via import. Employment Information and Work Order Imports are passing but system is throwing error for Job Information Import as below

Regular/Temporary, Position (do not use unless move out of mgr hierarchy) is a required field and cannot be blank., An error occurred while trying to execute a process related with the Job Information record with these values (start-date=2023-01-16)., Regular/Temporary, Position (do not use unless move out of mgr hierarchy) is a required field and cannot be blank.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Import Employee Data
2. Job History import -> Mode of import: Full Purge -> Click on Validate or Import 
3. System generates error 

Position and Regular/Temp fields are set to mandatory under Job Info parent configuration.

Imports respect parent configuration from JobInfo not JobInfo_Contingent under Manage Business Configurations. You will either have to configure these fields in JobInfo_Contingent or set these fields to non-mandatory for JobInfo. 

If you still require these fields to be set as mandatory for JobInfo then you will have to do it via Manage Business Rules.
