3258171 - Picklist Field is not showing dropdown values within Candidate Profile after adding it manually - Recruiting Management

After a Recruiter adds a Candidate manually, there is a picklist field that is not working properly by not showing the options:

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

There is a misconfiguration in the XML of the Description tag:

As can be seen above, there is no end and closure tag after one label description. This bad format of the XML tags can cause some issues while using the field. The description corruption is also visible in Manage Templates:

The description tag must be corrected like below, where one line per tag is following the respective language:

If necessary to make the change via Manage Templates, it can be simply inserted the description like this example:

Note: In this scenario, the User's current language was EN_US. Hence, please insert the description accordingly to your system language.
