3258189 - Inactive assignment is visible when Higher Duty record is terminated. 

Symptom

When a Higher Duty record is terminated, the inactive assignment is still visible in the employee's view.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

1. When you login as user, you will see 2 inactive assignments.

2. If we click on an inactive assignment, no details are visible under it.

3. Similarly, When you login as admin and navigate to affected users profile, you can see all the past assignments for this employee.

Resolution

As per standard behaviour in employee view you will all the active and inactive employments in the header.

We cannot restrict the logged-in user from viewing the employment data based on the employment status. This is the standard behaviour of RBP, where if the logged-in user has permission to view employment, then he should be able to view the details in the employee profile whether it is current/past/future employment.

If there are more than three employments, in the header there will be a hyperlink more which on clicking it opens the popover with all the list of employments. If employment is no longer needed, only deletion of the employment will remove it from the list in the Employee's View.
