Are Live Models supported in SAP Analytics Cloud, add-in for Microsoft Office?

SAP Analytics Cloud, add-in for Microsoft Office

Models based on SAP BW and SAP S/4HANA data sources are supported in SAP Analytics Cloud, add-in for Microsoft Office as described in chapter "Add a table" in the Help Portal documentation.

To use these models with the add-in, the connections to the SAP BW and SAP S/4HANA systems must be created as live data connections of type tunnel in your SAP Analytics Cloud.

For SAP S/4HANA live connections of type Direct, the "Open in Excel Add-in" option is not supported. Therefore, in such cases, this option is expected to remain disabled.
