3258412 - Change to Auto-Save Function in 360 Reviews – SAP Fiori Version

This KB article explains how the auto-save function works in 360 Reviews – SAP Fiori Version. 

SAP SuccessFactors 360 Multi-Rater

In 360 Reviews – SAP Fiori Version, the auto-save function is changed from saving after 5 seconds to 30 seconds of user inactivity. And the hard auto-save function (saving every 60 seconds) is removed.

• This change is applied to all customer instances on Oct 21,2022. 
• This change is only applicable to the auto-save function within 360 Reviews – SAP Fiori Version.

The increase from 5 seconds to 30 seconds extends the time between inputting data pauses and when auto-save is triggered. As always, we encourage users to save their data frequently to ensure all data is captured. The form data can be saved by clicking the Save icon in the upper right corner. 

But we still have the 'Reminder to Save if User Navigates Away from the 360 Reviews Form' feature to help limit the risk of data loss. If user tries to navigate away from the form without saving it, the system will remind the user of possible data loss. Navigating away from the form includes actions such as navigating to a different module/page within SuccessFactors or closing the browser window.

When users get this reminder, they can click cancel to stay in the form and manually save it by clicking the save button.
