3259143 - Opening balance not available in Display line items General Ledger

Symptom

Opening Balance or period 0 balance is not displayed in App Display Line Items in General Ledger.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to App Display Line Items in General Ledger.
  2. Include the filter field Fiscal Year Period.
  3. Press F4 on the field value help input.
  4. Select Between parameter.
  5. Input a Fiscal Year Period value  000/2022 to 008/2022.
  6. Press Go.
  7. No result is displayed.

Cause

Period 0 balance is not supported in App Display Line Items in General Ledger.

Resolution

In the App Display Line Items in General Ledger for the Fiscal year period user should choose a period value between 001 to 012.

To see the period 0 balance or Balance carried forward use App Trial Balance.
