3259790 - ASE & BODS error Maximum number connect

Symptom

  • Limited user connections to the Database fails with the following error
    Error :  "CON-120505: Sybase connection error: <Sybase CS Library message number <16843014> Severity <1>:   Message Text is: ct_connect(): user api layer: external error: The maximum number of connections have already been opened.>."
  • You should be able to see this same error message in your ASE database log.
