3260888 - No Error Occurs When Leaving an Extension Field Marked as Mandatory Empty in the Web Service of Maintain Accounts

You created an Extension Field in the Account Master Data and flagged the field as Mandatory. However when you create a new Account via Web Service and leaves this field empty, no error occurs.

You expects that the same error from the UI is shown in the web service side.

SAP Business ByDesign 2208 and higher.

Execute the payload via the web service of Maintain Accounts.

As long as you create the Account in Status "in Preparation", you will be able to save without the mandatory field.
However, if you create the Account with Lifecycle Status as "Active", then the web service call will result in an error.

Create the Account with the field LifeCycle Status as Active, then the system will return the expected error message.
