3261068 - System Dumps When Previewing Balance Confirmations.

You try to preview the results of balance confirmations, but system dumps with 500 Internal Error.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Receivables Work Center.
2. Go to the Balance Confirmation View.
3. Find and highlight the Balance Confirmation ID XX.
4. Click Preview->Print, then the system dumps with 500 Internal Error.

In this case, it is due to a different template is picked instead of the one for balance confirmation which should be the Balance Confirmation and Return Letter template.

For Form Template Selection, the template is picked based on the sequence and the one maintained at the top is used.

Follow below steps to check the template picked for the balance confirmation:

1. Go to the Application and User Management Work Center.
2. Go to the Form Template Selection View.
3. Select Balance Confirmation in the selection of Show Rules for.
4. Click Go, then you see the template maintained in the first line is not Balance Confirmation and Return Letter.

Follow below steps to adjust the sequence of the template:

1. Go to the Application and User Management Work Center.
2. Go to the Form Template Selection View.
3. Select Balance Confirmation in the selection of Show Rules for.
4. Click Go.
5. Click the Change Sequence button.
6. Highlight the row of the Balance Confirmation and Return Letter template.
7. Click Move Up and move it to the top.
8. Click OK.

Now, you are able to preview the results of balance confirmations.
