3261087 - Edition of contact person BP is locking unrelated BP

Symptom

BP1 and BP2 have the same contact person BP in relationship. BP3 is another BP and unrelated to BP1, BP2 and contact person BP. 

Correct behaviors are: 

  1. The edition for both BP1 and BP2 at the same time is okay.
  2. The edition for contact person BP is not possible when the BP1/BP2 is being edited. Following error occurs. 
    Object requested is currently locked by user && 
    Message no. MC601
  3. The edition for BP1/BP2 is also not possible when contact person BP is being edited. Following error occurs. 
    Business partner && is currently being processed by && 
    Message no. R1084

Incorrect behavior is: 

  • The edition for BP3 is also not possible when contact person BP is being edited. Following error occurs.  
    Object requested is currently locked by user &&
    Message no. MC601
