3261402 - Client Certificate Communication is enabled but RFCs are failing due to incorrect password of sapadm - SAP Focused Run

Symptom

Client Certificate communication has been enabled for the communication with managed systems via SAP Host Agent, but every time the sapadm password changes the RFCs stop working.

The connection test of the RFC returns the following error:

SSL handshake with <host>:1129 failed:

SSLERR_PEER_CERT_UNTRUSTED (-102)#The peer's X.509 Certificate (chain) is untrusted.

Failed to verify peer certificate. Peer not trusted.
