SAP Knowledge Base Article - Preview

3261631 - System Rename using db2relocatedb returns error SQL10007N Message '0' could not be retrieved. Reason Code '4'

Symptom

Running a system rename for JAVA or ABAP returns the following error with db2relocatedb output

db2relocatedb
SQL10007N  Message "0" could not be retrieved.  Reason code: "4".

Logs from SWPM show further error 

ERROR  dbmoddb6.generic errno=MDB-01999 CInstallerCallBackImpl::abortInstallation()
ERROR, returncode of  /db2/db2<SID>/db2_software/bin/db2relocatedb is 1
